Demonstrations Volunteer Support Fields
Legal Observer: Legal observers collect information on arrests and information that may be used in criminal defense of activists or in advocacy against police and government misconduct and repression. Legal observers ensure that the police know that they are being watched.
Hotline Support: Hotline workers need to be available to work shifts from home and refer people needing greater legal support or advice. We currently have a Demonstrations Hotline, Arrestee/Jail Hotline, COVID-19 Santa Rita Jail Hotline, and FBI Hotline.
Jail Support: Help track arrestees, contact loved ones, and coordinate rides home
General Volunteer Support: Are you available to provide logistical and/or general administrative support to the NLG-SF?
