The Hotline will almost always be active if Legal Observers are requested. Yes No Hotline Support Only If you are planning a large protest with many potential arrestees., it is advisable for both Legal Observers and Hotline to be present. Legal Observers can obtain information from people who are arrested and report it to the Hotline. People who are arrested can then call from jail to request legal support. But in some cases, organizers may request support from the Hotline only (no Legal Observers onsite).
